Tonder Class with Bobbi Donnelly

The weekend of March 5-7, 2011, Marie Kulchinski hosted a Tonder lace class taught by Bobbi Donnelly. The class was held at Marie’s beautiful studio in Hillsborough, NC. Surrounded by looms, books and all things fiber, fed by Jane’s marvelous scones and lots of chocolate, we delved into the intricacies of the most beautiful of Danish laces. We met Marie’s husband, Dick, and marveled at his beautiful works in wood.

Hi! I just saw this. Sorry for the delay in answering. Tonder lace is a point ground lace from Denmark. Worked in fine thread, 140/2 Egyptian cotton,
the gimp thread is larger and stands out. Hope this answers your question.
