From March 25th-27th 10 lacemakers gathered for a Milanese Lace workshop with Louise Colgan in Tryon, NC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attendees joined from as near as North and South Carolina and as far away as New York State!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The class worked on a variety of projects, with 2 main groups working on Louise’ Sunflower and Celtic Cross patterns (photos provided by Louise Colgan). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In all, 5 projects were being worked simultaneously, with Louise flitting back and forth to provide instruction to each individual or group as needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Louise has visited the Tryon Lacers for the last 3 years to teach Milanese Lace, and plans for a class in the Spring of 2027 are in the works.
